Haley Nutrition & Stockton Aloe #1
Why Haley Nutrition Is Different
At Haley Nutrition, we make natural products from plant foods with a focus on gut health, immune support, and whole-body wellness. At the center of our work is Stockton Aloe #1® Aloe Vera Gel—a raw, frozen, inner-leaf aloe vera drink made to preserve the plant as close as practical to its freshly harvested state.
Our approach is intentionally different from conventional shelf-stable aloe vera drinks. We hand-fillet the inner leaf, avoid heat processing and preservatives, do not dilute or extensively filter the gel, and freeze the finished aloe to preserve freshness.
Raw, Frozen Aloe Vera—Minimally Processed
Fresh aloe vera is a plant food, and plant foods naturally change after harvest. Our goal is not to engineer aloe vera for a long shelf life. Instead, we use minimal processing and freezing to slow the changes that naturally occur over time.
Inner Leaf Only
We remove the outer portion of the aloe leaf and use the clear inner gel to make our drinkable aloe vera.
Raw & Frozen
Our aloe vera gel is not pasteurized. Instead of using heat to create a shelf-stable beverage, we freeze our aloe to preserve freshness.
No Preservatives or Dilution
We don’t add chemical preservatives to our Aloe #1 gel, and we don’t dilute it with water. What you receive is remarkably close to the aloe gel we harvest from the leaf.
Not Extensively Filtered
We don’t extensively filter or decolorize our aloe to create a thin, uniform juice. The natural pulp and texture remain, so you can see and feel the difference.

Aloe Vera for Gut & Immune Health
Aloe vera has a long history of traditional use and continues to be studied for its potential effects on digestion, gastrointestinal health, immune function, metabolic health, and other areas of human health.
We believe health decisions should be based on more than marketing claims. That’s why we encourage customers to learn about aloe vera, examine the scientific research, and understand how the aloe they consume is grown and processed.
Peer-reviewed aloe vera research can be found through PubMed, the biomedical literature database maintained by the National Library of Medicine. Our educational articles also examine aloe vera, its components, processing methods, and published research in greater detail.

More Than 75 Years of Aloe Vera History
The story behind Stockton Aloe #1 began with Rodney Stockton, an aloe vera pioneer whose work with the plant began more than 75 years ago. His research, cultivation methods, and commitment to aloe vera established a legacy that continues today.
After Rodney Stockton’s death, Dr. Michael Haley was asked by Stockton’s former wife to help preserve his work. When saving the original company was no longer practical, Dr. Haley founded Stockton Aloe 1, Inc. to continue that legacy.
As the company expanded beyond aloe vera into other plant-based nutrition and personal care products, it became Haley Nutrition. Today, Stockton Aloe #1 remains our aloe vera product brand and an important connection to the work that started it all.

Our Philosophy: Fresher Is Better
We believe foods should remain as close as practical to the plants they came from. That philosophy influences how we harvest, process, store, and ship our aloe vera and how we evaluate other products offered by Haley Nutrition.
It also means we’re willing to accept some inconvenience. Raw frozen aloe isn’t as easy to warehouse or ship as a shelf-stable beverage. It requires freezer space, careful handling, and frozen shipping. We believe those extra steps are worthwhile because they allow us to make aloe vera in the way we believe it should be made.
That’s the difference we want you to discover.
