Rosehip Oil – Rosa Mosqueta

Rosehip Oil Dropper

This precious oil is extracted from the seed of the rose bush (Rosa Mosqueta) after the petals have fallen off. This plant grows wild in the southern Andes. It is one of the few oils that contains naturally available retinoic acid (vitamin A). Unlike retinol synthesized in laboratories, Rosehip oil has no topical adverse side effects. Natural retinoic acid aids in the regeneration of damaged skin. Rosehip oil also contains a high amount of natural Vitamin C, even more than citrus fruits. Rose hip tea is recommended for that reason. Rosehip oil also has a high content, nearly 80%, of essential fatty-acids, specifically linoleic acid (Omega-6) and linolenic acid (Omega-3). This amazing oil aids the skin by helping to reduce scaring (old and new), skin burns including sunburns, rehydrating dry skin, repairing damaged skin cells of all kinds, and reducing wrinkles. Rosehip oil absorbs very quickly, penetrating the skin immediately in order to restore the skin’s needed moisture balance. One of the great things about Rosehips oil is it can be used daily without “over-treating” normal skin. It helps to diminish hyperpigmentation spots and lessen wrinkles. It is best used as a preventative treatment for daily environmental stressors, along with post surgery scaring and wound healing. The results of daily use may be firmer, smoother, and more youthful skin with greater elasticity.

Youth-Derm® Ultra Healing Aloe Cream uses unrefined, virgin, organic Rosehip oil of the finest quality. It has the characteristic reddish orange color. Enjoy the benefits!
